Based on the S7-200 PLC culture paper machine transmission control system hardware design bachelor's degree thesis.doc, the design of the electrical transmission control system for a culture paper machine is explored. With the development of the global economy, the pulp and paper industry has become an important pillar of industrial and economic growth in China. Advanced paper machines internationally are evolving towards high efficiency and low consumption to meet market competition needs. However, many existing paper machines in China are at a disadvantage in this aspect, necessitating technological upgrades. For manufacturers of paper machine machinery, it is essential to catch up and improve performance from the design stage. By focusing on the transmission control system of a culture paper machine, this design incorporates an ABB inverter and Siemens PLC to create a control network for the paper machine electrical control system. The electrical transmission control system is based on a PLC-controlled AC variable frequency speed control system. Through this project design, the ability to analyze and solve problems is nurtured, along with a deeper understanding of industrial production applications such as motors, inverters, PLCs, industrial control computers, communications, fieldbuses, touchscreens, and more. A deeper understanding of motor control methods is also obtained. Keywords: paper machine, speed chain, sectional transmission, load distribution.
