Abstract: With the development of computer information technology and the increasing competition, the market has put forward new requirements for enterprise logistics systems. Automated high-rise warehouses have received increasing attention and widespread application. The research on its operational efficiency has become a focus of enterprise attention. Flexsim software, focusing on modeling and simulation of discrete systems, is an ideal choice for the simulation planning of automated high-rise warehouses. Logistics simulation uses computer technology to simulate real logistics systems, to verify the effectiveness, rationality, and optimization of logistics project construction through simulated activities and processes. Taking a company's automated high-rise warehouse as an example, this paper further explores the general methods of modeling and simulation using Flexsim software based on the basic components and working process of automated high-rise warehouses. Through simulating the logistics system of an automated high-rise warehouse, the overall analysis of warehouse logistics processes is carried out. According to the different operating characteristics of each part, the entire process of simulation is studied, identifying its unreasonable areas and optimizing them, resulting in improved warehouse operational efficiency.
