The graduation thesis "Design of Computer Speed Control and Traction System for Cantilever Crane (without counterweight)" conducted at Shenyang Aerospace University Northern Technical College focuses on the research of computer speed control for the crane motor in order to achieve uniform lifting and lowering when there is an empty hook or a load. The thesis provides detailed introduction to the starting, speed regulation, and braking of the crane motor, and proposes various speed regulation and braking methods for discussion. Specifically, the thesis adopts the methods of cascade speed regulation and reverse connection braking to control the motor.
