QPSK modulation and demodulation are important techniques in wireless communication systems. This undergraduate thesis titled "QPSK Modulation and Demodulation Software Design and Implementation" explores the principles and design of QPSK modulation and demodulation using MATLAB software with SIMULINK simulation functions. With the development of mobile communication technology, traditional modulation techniques such as FSK, ASK, and PSK are gradually being replaced by more advanced modulation techniques. QPSK, or Quadrature Phase Shift Keying, is a prominent binary modulation method in wireless communication technology. The thesis focuses on the implementation of QPSK modulation and demodulation processes, starting from the theoretical framework to the practical simulation using MATLAB software. The research presented in the thesis covers the theoretical background of QPSK modulation and demodulation, followed by the development of a simulation model using MATLAB with SIMULINK. By running the simulation model, the signal's temporal characteristics during the QPSK modulation and demodulation process are analyzed and visualized. This software-based approach offers increased flexibility, reduced design time, and improved efficiency in comparison to traditional hardware circuit design methods. In conclusion, the software implementation of QPSK modulation and demodulation offers significant advantages in terms of design flexibility, time-saving, efficiency improvement, and reduced hardware circuit design workload. This thesis contributes to the understanding and practical application of QPSK modulation and demodulation in digital cellular systems, highlighting the importance of advanced modulation techniques in modern wireless communication technologies.
