The document "Design and Implementation Sample of Container Terminal Data Warehouse" provides an in-depth analysis of the establishment of a data warehouse for container terminals. In today's rapidly developing information technology field, data warehouse technology has become a hot research topic and is increasingly mature, becoming a cutting-edge technology in the field of information technology. The implementation of a data warehouse has been proven to bring substantial benefits to companies, and container terminals are also hoping to improve their core competitiveness through the establishment of a data warehouse. Based on the requirements of the container terminal data warehouse project, this paper focuses on the research of the design and application of the throughput topic of the container terminal data warehouse. Through the analysis and restructuring of the container terminal business, appropriate technical routes and data warehouse architecture are selected to achieve the establishment of the data warehouse. ETL design is the core of the data warehouse, and this paper also introduces ETL design methods in detail. In order to minimize the impact on the source system, the design of the appropriate ETL is particularly important. After fully analyzing the container terminal business and data warehouse technology, the author has designed an ETL approach based on time. The project uses dimensional modeling to implement a multi-dimensional data set of container terminal throughput. Finally, Microsoft's SQL Server is selected as the data warehouse storage system, providing external queries and analysis of the throughput multi-dimensional data set. This document acts as a guide for those looking to implement a data warehouse for container terminals, providing insights into the technology, methodology, and architecture required for a successful implementation.
