Abstract: The distributed control of multi-agent systems has become a popular research area due to its wide applications in both military and civilian sectors. Consensus, as the foundation for coordinated control problems, plays a crucial role in multi-agent systems. This dissertation focuses on group consensus problems of multi-agent systems, with a specific emphasis on first-order multi-agent systems. Through our research, we have made significant contributions to the field. Our main results are as follows: 1. We have developed a comprehensive analysis of group consensus problems in first-order multi-agent systems. By studying the dynamics and interactions among multiple agents, we have identified key factors influencing group consensus formation. 2. Through extensive simulations and experiments, we have validated the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms for achieving group consensus in multi-agent systems. Our research has shown promising results in real-world scenarios. 3. We have explored the implications of group consensus in various applications, particularly in the context of home design and artificial intelligence. By integrating multi-agent systems into these domains, we have demonstrated the potential for improved efficiency and cooperation. Overall, our research contributes to advancing the field of multi-agent systems and consensus formation. By addressing key challenges and proposing innovative solutions, we have laid the groundwork for further research in this area. Our findings have important implications for the development of intelligent systems and the design of smart homes.
