In our daily life and industrial production, temperature control systems are widely used. Among them, indoor temperature control is the most basic control in all temperature control systems, which can lead to the formation of constant temperature boxes, etc. The indoor temperature control system designed in this paper is based on a single-chip microcomputer. The DS1624 detects the indoor temperature and transmits it to the AT89S52 single-chip microcomputer, which compares it with the set value. The microcomputer processes the data, and then changes the level of a specific I/O port based on the processing results to control whether the thermoelectric refrigeration chip is heating or cooling, thus achieving the purpose of indoor temperature control. This paper can not only display the current set temperature in real-time but also control the temperature to meet the user's requirements, and keep the set value unchanged when there is no new temperature setting. The user-friendly keypad design makes temperature setting simple and fast, and the display method of two integer digits and two decimal digits has higher display accuracy. Furthermore, temperature limits are set, and the system only allows temperature changes within the specified range, with an overall error of less than 0.1°C.
