This design focuses on the relay protection and automatic device setting calculation for the 220kV transmission line, including the design of electrical main lines and the selection of major electrical equipment, the formulation of system operating modes, the selection of neutral grounding points in transformers, the distribution of maximum load flow, the setting calculation and verification of relay protection devices. Based on the characteristics and operational requirements of this power grid, the best solution is sought, configuring zero-sequence, distance, high-frequency, and phase comparison protection, and finally evaluating the entire set of protection systems.
