In the fast-paced society, people's demands for dining are not only about the taste and presentation but also about the timing and convenience. Many busy individuals struggle to find time to enjoy a good meal, leading to a growing demand for quick and efficient online ordering systems. With the rapid advancement of internet technology, online food ordering has become an essential part of modern life. This paper provides a detailed discussion of the development and design process of a web-based food ordering website system. The system is developed using MyEclipse as the platform, Java as the programming language, and SQL Server as the database. It incorporates features such as member management, menu management, order management, and messaging management. This system meets the requirements of a web-based food ordering website, effectively improving work efficiency. The paper is organized as follows: it discusses the potential of the system, introduces the development tools and underlying technologies, analyzes the system requirements, presents the design and database model, demonstrates the implementation of the system and its modules, and concludes with a summary and findings.
