Research Background
In recent years, China has experienced an average of approximately 169 maritime accidents annually, resulting in a high number of 197 people missing or dead per year due to lack of fresh water while waiting for rescue. This has highlighted the urgent need for a solution to provide access to fresh water in emergency situations on the sea.
Product Introduction
The synthesis route of the adsorbent is shown in the figure. We use a simple amino-carbonyl condensation reaction to produce the adsorbent and use it as the main filling material for the device.
Market Analysis
The mini seawater desalination device developed by our project team is convenient to carry, easy to operate, and has low energy consumption, making it highly competitive in the market. The core device has obtained national utility model patent authorization and has completely independent intellectual property rights.
Team Introduction
The project team was established in June 2021, and during the project development process, team members divided their work and cooperated according to their own experience and expertise, each doing their respective parts.
