Based on the SCM system design, the speed electric bicycle is an innovative solution to the growing environmental concerns caused by traditional motorbikes and fuel-assisted bicycles. With the rapid development of motorbikes and fuel-assisted bicycles, the emissions they produce have led to severe air pollution in urban areas, prompting some cities to enforce regulations to limit their usage for environmental protection. As a result, there is a pressing need for alternative green transportation options for short distances. The electric bicycle, with its zero emissions, has emerged as a promising solution to this challenge. The design of the electric bicycle in this study utilizes a sensorless DC brushless permanent magnet motor and a PIC16C74 single-chip microcomputer as the main control chip. This system not only overcomes the drawbacks of brushed DC motors such as noise and sparking but also avoids the limitations of sensor-based brushless DC motors. Furthermore, it reduces manufacturing and operating costs, enhances user convenience, and boasts high efficiency, environmental friendliness, economic viability, and ease of use. The electric bicycle exhibits excellent performance and holds significant market potential. In conclusion, the development of the speed electric bicycle based on the SCM system represents a sustainable transportation solution that addresses both environmental and economic challenges. By leveraging sensorless technology and advanced microcontroller control, this system offers a practical, efficient, and environmentally friendly alternative for short-distance travel. With its superior performance and market feasibility, the electric bicycle has the potential to revolutionize urban transportation and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
