The dissertation on the design and implementation of a land use spatial database based on remote sensing technology focuses on the importance of understanding current land use status for more rational utilization of land resources. With the rapid economic development in recent years, the need for accurate and updated land use data has become crucial. Traditional land use surveys are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and expensive. In response to these challenges, this study utilized high-resolution satellite images and GIS technology to collect land use data for the Oujiadachong region. By establishing a comprehensive spatial database for land use, the research aimed to facilitate information sharing and provide essential data for the sustainable development of land resources. The main objectives of the study included data collection, entry, editing, management, browsing, querying, and visualization of land use information. The ultimate goal was to create a user-friendly platform that allows stakeholders to access and analyze land use data effectively. Key words: land use; spatial data; spatial database. Overall, the research project on the design and creation of a comprehensive spatial database for land use based on remote sensing technology serves as a significant contribution to the field of land management and urban planning. By leveraging advanced technologies and methodologies, the study provides valuable insights into the current land use status and paves the way for more informed decision-making processes in land resource management. The establishment of a spatial database for land use not only facilitates information sharing among different stakeholders but also promotes sustainable development practices for the better utilization of land resources in the future.
