Rayleigh fading is a common phenomenon in wireless communication channels, where the amplitude and phase of the signal experience random fluctuations due to multipath propagation. Understanding the characteristics of fading channels and simulating them accurately is crucial for the design and analysis of communication systems. In this study, two simulation methods for Rayleigh fading channels, namely the mean square error method (MSEM) and the exact Doppler spread method (MEDS), are discussed and implemented using Matlab. The simulation results demonstrate that the simulated fading signals closely match the theoretical curves, indicating a high degree of accuracy in modeling wireless fading channels. This research provides valuable insights into the behavior of Rayleigh fading channels and offers a practical approach to simulating realistic fading effects in communication systems.
