Abstract The information management of university libraries has become an important system function used by both teachers and students. By managing the library's resources, it promotes paperless office and provides convenience for teachers and students to borrow books. The library management system is a typical backend management system that can be accessed through a browser, providing convenience and usability. This system adopts a BS architecture model and is designed using JSP technology, with MySQL as the backend database management. The library plays a crucial role in universities, as it enhances the learning attitude of both teachers and students. The system is divided into administrator, teacher, and reader roles, with readers further categorized as teachers and students. The administrator is responsible for managing the borrowing information, teacher information, and reader information, providing users with reasonable management. The development of this system greatly frees the hands of the administrator and allows for easier and more efficient management of the library.
