This graduation thesis focuses on the communication between Mitsubishi inverter and Siemens PLC in order to achieve the forward and reverse rotation of the motor. Communication protocols are used to enable the personal computer to send commands that the inverter can recognize, and the inverter accepts the commands and then sends out commands that the PLC can recognize. The PLC, in turn, implements the forward and reverse rotation of the motor. Mitsubishi inverter can achieve motor forward and reverse rotation as well as frequency changes through panel operation, potentiometer operation, and three fixed frequency operations. This paper introduces the application, functions of Mitsubishi inverter, as well as the communication with Siemens PLC and the precautions when using it. Keywords: Mitsubishi inverter, Siemens PLC, communication. The communication between Mitsubishi inverter and Siemens PLC plays a crucial role in industrial automation. By using communication protocols, the two devices can work together seamlessly to control the motor in various ways. The Mitsubishi inverter, with its panel operation, potentiometer operation, and three fixed frequency operations, provides a flexible and efficient way to control the motor's rotation and frequency. It is important to pay attention to the communication process and ensure that the commands are correctly transmitted and received to avoid any errors or malfunctions. In conclusion, the communication between Mitsubishi inverter and Siemens PLC is essential for industrial automation applications. By understanding the functions and capabilities of both devices, users can effectively control the motor and achieve the desired results. Proper communication protocols and precautions should be taken to ensure smooth operation and avoid any potential issues. Mitsubishi inverter and Siemens PLC are powerful tools that, when used correctly, can greatly enhance the efficiency and productivity of industrial processes.
