The design of a temperature monitoring system for a hot-water heater based on a single-chip microcomputer is a crucial aspect of the development of water heating technology. This system plays a significant role in improving the quality of water heater products. The project focuses on the characteristics of temperature control in hot-water heaters and the importance of precise temperature control. It involves the design of a single-chip microcontroller-based control system, including both hardware and software components. The hardware circuit is based on the AT89C51 microcontroller and includes detailed designs for temperature signal acquisition, temperature digital display, keyboard temperature setting, alarm, optocoupler isolated output, and analog heating circuits. The software component focuses on programming the control mode of the heating device. The temperature sensor DS18B20 collects the temperature and converts it into a voltage signal, which is then fed back to the microcontroller. The microcontroller compares this signal with the set temperature value and controls the heating device accordingly, achieving the goal of temperature control. In conclusion, the temperature monitoring system for a hot-water heater based on a single-chip microcontroller is an essential and practical project, aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of water heating technology. This design provides a comprehensive and effective solution for precise temperature control in hot-water heaters, contributing to the development of the water heating industry. Key words: single-chip microcontroller, hot-water heater, temperature control, DS18B20.
