With the improvement of people's living standards, the issue of home security has become more prominent. In today's era of continuous development of science and technology, the electronic password lock plays an increasingly crucial role as a guardian against theft. This paper starts from an economic practical perspective, using the STC89C52 as the main control chip and the low-power CMOS type E²PROM AT24C02 as the data storage unit, combined with peripheral keyboard input, LCD display, alarm, unlocking and other circuit modules. It can achieve the following functions: unlocking under the condition of correctly inputting the password, alarm when the password is input incorrectly, and the ability to change the password according to the user's needs. The control program of the main control chip and the EEPROM AT24C02 read/write program are written in C language, combined with the compilation using Keil software, designing an electronic password control system that can change the password multiple times and has alarm function. This password lock has the characteristics of reasonable design, simplicity, low cost, practical security, strong confidentiality, and high flexibility, making it have certain promotional value.
