Recently, CDMA has become a hot research topic in the field of mobile communications. CDMA2000 is a third-generation mobile communication system developed in North America based on the IS-95 system. It uses direct sequence spread spectrum and multi-carrier technologies in the forward channel structure to provide broadband data services. The CDMA2000 standard specifies detailed recommendations for transmission technologies, but there is limited information on the receiving part. This paper establishes a mathematical model of a multi-channel software radio receiver. Based on this model, a digital intermediate frequency design and application scheme for the CDMA2000 multi-carrier receiving system is proposed, and the design and performance parameters of each unit of the system are given. Finally, the feasibility of the scheme is verified through simulation. The simulation of the CDMA2000 mobile communication system receiver is conducted using the Matlab software package Simulink on the Windows platform. The simulation focuses on the "CDMA2000 mobile station transmitter" and implements a time-based simulation. The paper analyzes the main signal processing processes in the "CDMA2000 mobile station transmitter", including source encoding, channel encoding, data modulation, and baseband filtering. In conclusion, the simulation results support the feasibility of the proposed design and application scheme for the CDMA2000 RAKE receiver. This research contributes to the understanding and improvement of CDMA2000 technology, especially in the area of multi-carrier reception systems.
