Oracle with check option

"WITH CHECK OPTION" is an optional clause that can be added to the end of an SQL statement when creating a view or subquery in Oracle.
When this clause is used, it ensures that any data modification (insert, update, or delete) made through the view or subquery will not violate the view's or subquery's filter condition. In other words, any changes made to the data must still meet the view's or subquery's criteria, otherwise the modification will be rejected.
For example, suppose you have a view that only shows employees who work in the Sales department. If you try to insert a new record into the view for an employee in the Finance department, the "WITH CHECK OPTION" clause will prevent the insertion because it violates the view's filter condition.
This feature can be useful for maintaining data integrity and ensuring that the data in the view or subquery remains consistent with the original data source.
