This design is an automatic temperature and humidity controller for greenhouses and warehouses, based on the AT89C52 microcontroller. The system utilizes the SHT11 sensor for temperature and humidity measurements, and the LCD1602 display for data visualization. The SHT11 sensor uses a similar timing sequence as the I2C bus to communicate with the microcontroller. Being highly integrated, it includes an A/D conversion circuit, making it convenient to use. The LCD1602 display is capable of displaying data in two lines, with the first line showing the temperature and the second line showing the humidity. The control system is able to measure the temperature and humidity within the greenhouse or warehouse and display them on the LCD1602 screen. It then compares the measured values with the predefined set values and triggers an alarm and activates temperature and humidity adjustment devices if the values exceed the upper or lower limits. Additionally, the system allows for modification of the set temperature and humidity values using an independent keyboard. To demonstrate the feasibility of the system, the system schematic is designed and simulated using Proteus software. The simulation results confirm the functionality and reliability of the system. In summary, this design presents an AT89C52 microcontroller-based automatic temperature and humidity control system for greenhouses and warehouses. The system effectively measures and displays temperature and humidity values, triggers alarms and adjusts temperature and humidity levels when necessary. It offers the flexibility of modifying set values through a dedicated keyboard. The simulation results validate the feasibility of the system, making it a reliable and practical solution for greenhouse and warehouse temperature and humidity control.
