In order to improve the level of the school, enhance work efficiency, and meet the requirements of modern Chinese education, the construction of a campus network is necessary for a school. A good campus network can improve the efficiency of various aspects of the school, help broaden one's horizons, facilitate information access, and contribute to talent cultivation. The topic mainly focuses on the planning and design of the campus network at Chaoyang School. Preparation has been made for the topic by comparing the performance advantages and disadvantages of network equipment, studying the technical requirements of various practical examples, and some design schemes of campus networks. In accordance with the requirements of various examples, the planning and design of the campus network are realized. In simple terms, the project involves designing a campus network that connects the laboratory building, teacher dormitory building, student dormitory building, administrative office building, teaching building, and computer room. The campus network includes subnet division, ACL (Access Control List), WLAN wireless network construction, routing protocol (OSPF), DHCP server setup, etc. This design allows the school staff to share courseware materials and simplify management tasks.
