"M24256E EEPROM芯片资料及特性详解"
The M24256E datasheet describes a new chip that is an improved version of the original 24256 chip, with the main difference being the absence of hardware address selection pins. This chip is compatible with various I2C bus modes, including Fast-mode Plus (1 MHz), Fast-mode (400 kHz), and Standard-mode (100 kHz), making it versatile for different applications. The memory array of the M24256E consists of 256 Kbit (32 Kbytes) of EEPROM, with a page size of 64 bytes and an additional identification page. It operates on a single supply voltage ranging from 1.6 to 5.5 V, and has an operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. The write cycle time for this chip is relatively fast, with byte write and page write both taking place within 5 ms. It offers both random and sequential read modes, as well as write protection for the entire memory array. The device address is configurable, providing flexibility for integration into various systems. Furthermore, the M24256E features enhanced ESD and latch-up protection, ensuring reliability and durability in different environments and operating conditions.
