With the development of science and technology, monitoring systems have had a greater impact on people's lives. Monitoring technology is involved in various aspects of life. This design focuses on temperature as the research object of monitoring and combines microcontroller and interface technology to develop a temperature monitoring system designed using partial edge technology. The temperature is collected using the DS18B20 temperature digital sensor, processed by the CPU, and displayed on the digital tube using the 74LS47. Additionally, password and temperature upper and lower limits can be set through the serial port. When the measured temperature is lower than the set temperature, a heater is used to heat it. When the measured temperature is higher than the set temperature, an alarm is activated and a certain control signal is given. This paper mainly describes the design of the temperature acquisition module, display module, and control isolation module. The temperature acquisition module uses the DS18B20 digital sensor. The display module is composed of three 7-segment displays, 74LS47, ADC0808, and other components. The control isolation module is composed of optocouplers, bidirectional controllable silicon rectifier bridge, transformer, and other components. Finally, experiments and simulations are conducted on the temperature control system. The analysis of the simulation demonstrates the rationality and effectiveness of the microcontroller-based temperature control system design described in this paper. Keywords: microcontroller, DS18B20 sensor, temperature monitoring system, control isolation circuit.
