The utilization rate of space in a three-dimensional parking garage is very high, and it can achieve automated operation and convenient use. The construction cost is much lower than that of traditional parking lots. Equipped with automatic detection systems, various security mechanisms, automatic alarm systems, fire systems, and other preventive facilities, it is safe and reliable. It can also be tailored to local conditions, using scattered land and a beautiful appearance to beautify the urban environment. This paper starts from analyzing the specific characteristics of various three-dimensional parking garages, and combines with the specific environmental conditions of urban residential areas, to select the vertical lifting three-dimensional parking garage as the research and development object. The overall plan of the garage is proposed and determined, and the overall system structure of the garage is established, consisting of mechanical structure and automatic control structure. The composition and functions of the automatic vehicle storage and access system are designed in detail, and the vehicle entry and exit process is determined. The development of the parking garage enriches the construction mode of parking equipment in the residential area and has certain social significance.
