The combination machine tool is widely used in the mechanical manufacturing industry due to its advantages of low cost and high efficiency, which play a crucial role in a country's economic development. This paper provides a detailed analysis of the processing technology of the clutch pressure plate thread hole, proposing a method of "one-time clamping, single workstation processing, to achieve the accuracy requirements of the product drawing". Based on this concept, a four-axis single workstation tapping combination machine tool is designed. The combination machine tool is composed of a column, column base, intermediate base, hydraulic slide table, power box, multi-axis box, etc. Each part of the machine tool is meticulously designed and calculated in this paper. The key words of this study include combination machine tool, clutch pressure plate, spindle box, and fixture. In conclusion, this research focuses on the design and analysis of a four-axis single workstation tapping combination machine tool for the processing of clutch pressure plate thread holes. This machine tool is essential for enhancing the production capacity and efficiency of the machinery manufacturing industry, contributing to the overall economic growth of a country. The detailed calculations and designs presented in this paper lay a solid foundation for the practical application and development of combination machine tools in industrial manufacturing processes.
