This dissertation discusses the design and implementation of a data acquisition system, which is an intelligent system that combines modern data acquisition theory, methods, and Java graphical user interface. The system aims to provide personalized data acquisition services for graphical personalized learning, allowing users to perform data acquisition for various types of questions anytime and anywhere. The paper mainly focuses on the implementation of temperature data collection using serial communication. Serial data collection is an important part of Java programming. With the increasingly fast pace of social life and work, manual data collection can no longer meet social needs. However, the emergence of serial programs has effectively solved this problem. With just one serial port and the corresponding program, data collection, organization, and analysis can be easily achieved. This not only saves costs but also ensures data effectiveness and reduces errors. This system utilizes the DS18B20 digital temperature sensor and Atmel's AT89S51 microcontroller as the control core to design an intelligent temperature acquisition module for collecting environmental temperature. The collected data is then transmitted to the computer via the serial port. The innovation lies in the use of virtual instrument technology and the LabVIEW software to write the corresponding upper computer software, which controls the acquisition module for temperature acquisition, serial data transmission, data processing, and display.
