The design and implementation of a simple spectrum analyzer based on DSP technology is crucial in understanding and analyzing signals in the frequency domain. The measurement of network impedance and transmission characteristics presents common challenges in electronic measurement, with parameters such as amplitude-frequency characteristics, gain and attenuation characteristics, and phase-frequency characteristics falling under the umbrella of transmission characteristics. The ability to analyze these characteristics facilitates adjustments, calibration, and troubleshooting of the measured network. In this project, a simple spectrum analyzer is designed to provide a more intuitive view of the signal's properties. To achieve this goal, the implementation of fast Fourier transform (FFT) is essential for signal frequency analysis. Leveraging the capabilities of DSP technology, the project utilizes the FFT algorithm to analyze and display the frequency values of the input waveform. The key focus of this project lies in the integration of DSP technology for signal processing, particularly in the context of FFT algorithm implementation. Through this design, the spectrum analyzer aims to provide a user-friendly interface for analyzing the frequency components of a signal, ultimately enhancing the understanding and characterization of signals in the frequency domain.
