ology plays a crucial role in the storage process of grain. Due to the limitations of manual drying, such as various human and weather factors, as well as low efficiency and substandard drying effects, this paper introduces a grain drying machine automatic control system based on PLC technology. The system uses an Omron CPM2A programmable controller as the core control unit to achieve automatic control of the entire grain drying process, including grain feeding, circulating drying, automatic temperature adjustment, and qualified grain discharging. The paper is divided into several parts, including hardware design, software design, main program module, and combustion module. The software design is written in ladder diagram format using CX-P programming software, mainly using step control instructions to achieve control of the various sub-processes of the grain drying machine. The control process of the grain drying machine is also simulated using configuration software. By using the Omron CPM2A controller, the system is able to automate the entire process of grain drying, overcoming the limitations and inefficiencies of manual drying. The software design and simulation further demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in achieving high-quality and efficient grain drying. This system has the potential to greatly improve the grain storage process, ensuring better quality and reducing the impact of human and weather-related factors on the drying process.
