Existence and stability of anti-periodic solution
for impulsive cellular neural networks
with distributed delays

Abstract: Using the iterative analysis method,the existence and uniqueness of anti-periodic solution and the uniform
stability of the equilibrium point of impulsive cellular neural networks with distributed delays are considered. Some
new results are obtained.

脉冲分布时滞细胞神经网络反周期解的存在性和稳定性

摘要:利用迭代分析方法,研究了一类脉冲分布时滞细胞神经网络反周期解的存在性和唯一性以及平衡点的一致
稳定性,得到了一些新的结论.

0 Introduction
As an important tool to study practical problems of biology, engineering and image processing, the
cellular neural networks (CNNs) has caused more and more attention[1_2]. Some interesting results about
the periodic solution for impulsive cellular neural networks have been obtained[3_7]. The signal transmis
sion process of neural networks can often be described as anti-periodic process. The anti-periodic solution
of neural networks has actively been investigated in recent years[8_11]. But there are few papers that con
sider the problems of anti-periodic solutions for neural networks with delays and impulses. Thus, tt is
worth investigating the existence and stability of anti-periodic solutions of impulsive C N N s with distributed
delays. In [ 1 2 ] , by establishing impulsive differential inequality, using Lyapunov functions,
Krasnoselski’s fixed point theorem and constaction mapping principle, the authors studied the existence
and exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions for delays cellular neural networks with impulsive
effects. In this paper,we employ the iterative analysis method to obtain the existence of anti-periodic solu
tion and the uniform stability of the equilibrium point of impulsive C N N s with distributed delays. W e con
sider the following impulsive C N N s with distributed delays :
