With the rapid development of science and technology, various industries in society are striving to keep up with modern advanced technologies to improve their own advantages, and the hospital outpatient registration system is no exception. The hospital outpatient registration system is a management system developed with the use of actual application as the development background, using software engineering development methods and adopting JSP technology. The entire development process begins with the analysis of the software system requirements to determine the main functions of the system. Then the system is subjected to overall design and detailed design. The overall design includes system overall structural design, system data structure design, system function design, and system security design; detailed design includes key code implementation of module realization, system database access, and specific implementation of major functional modules. Finally, the system is subjected to functional testing, and the test results are analyzed and summarized. Any deficiencies in the system are promptly addressed to facilitate future system maintenance and provide reference and assistance for the development of similar systems in the future. The database used in this hospital outpatient registration system is MySQL, developed using JSP technology. In the design process, efforts are made to ensure the system code has good readability, practicality, scalability, universality, ease of maintenance, ease of operation, and simple page design.
