By analyzing the necessity of agricultural waste disposal and the importance of soil nutrient replenishment, this thesis proposes the scientific basis for the design of the straw returning machine. In the introduction, the background and significance of straw returning are first introduced. With the progress of agricultural modernization, more and more waste is generated on farmland. How to effectively deal with these wastes is an urgent problem to be solved. At the same time, soil nutrients are lost with the harvest of crops. Therefore, how to replenish soil nutrients to ensure the yield and quality of farmland is a key factor to consider. Secondly, the scientific basis for the design of the straw returning machine is discussed in this thesis. The design principles of the straw returning machine are analyzed, including adapting to the characteristics of agricultural waste, achieving efficient and environmentally friendly processing, and reducing production costs. Based on this, the design requirements of the straw returning machine are proposed, including processing capacity, operational stability, and ease of operation. In the second chapter, the design scheme of the straw returning machine is specifically discussed. First, by investigating the existing straw returning machine products on the market, the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Then, based on the scientific basis and design requirements, the design scheme of the straw returning machine is formulated, including the selection of suitable materials and structures, and the determination of the dimensions and structures of key components. Chapter 3 is about the specific implementation and performance evaluation of the design scheme. The three-dimensional model of the straw returning machine is drawn using CAD software, and simulation and testing are conducted. The performance of the design scheme is evaluated based on experimental data, including processing efficiency, energy consumption, and operational difficulty. Meanwhile, improvement suggestions are also proposed to further optimize the design of the straw returning machine. Finally, in Chapter 4, the thesis summarizes the entire design process and outlooks for the future. It summarizes the key issues and methods of the design of the straw returning machine and makes recommendations for future research and improvements.
