The PLC-based automatic tablet bottling machine described in this document is a versatile and efficient system that can adjust dosing quantities, count tablets, and bottle them automatically. The paper provides an overview of the control system, workflow, hardware design, and software design of the automatic tablet bottling machine. The system is controlled by a Mitsubishi FX2N PLC, which enables functions such as machine startup/shutdown, dosing quantity adjustment, automatic bottle capping, and real-time tablet counting display. The automatic tablet bottling machine consists of four main mechanisms: the main drive mechanism, counting mechanism, bottle conveyance mechanism, and automatic bottle capping mechanism. Through the coordination of these mechanisms, the machine is able to perform six steps - namely storing materials, selecting materials, counting tablets, bottling tablets, capping bottles, and delivering bottles - to achieve full automation. This design boasts flexibility in control, high accuracy in counting, reliability, simple control circuitry, and user-friendliness, making it suitable for various automated tablet bottling operations.
