Abstract:
This paper is based on the design of the Siemens S7-200 PLC structure of an automatic steel rolling machine system. The paper begins by discussing the origin and development of automatic steel rolling machines, as well as the current situation of their development in China. It then provides a comprehensive analysis of the proposed solution for the automatic steel rolling machine, including the basic components, features, and working principles of PLCs. The paper also provides a detailed description of the overall design process for the automatic steel rolling machine system, which is based on the Siemens S7-200 PLC series.
Within the paper, the various hardware components of the automatic steel rolling machine are described in detail, and the external wiring diagram for the PLC is completed. In terms of programming, the paper utilizes the Siemens PLC specialized ladder diagram software, STEP7. The basic principles and working processes of the automatic steel rolling machine are explained, with specific emphasis on the role of the programmable controller. The program covers the majority of the processes involved in the operation of the automatic steel rolling machine. By implementing a PLC-controlled automatic steel rolling machine, the system stability is improved, ensuring long-term stable operation.
