Abstract This graduate thesis outlines the design specifications for an injection mold for a plastic product. The primary requirements for this mold include uniform thickness of the plastic material and a smooth surface finish. Due to the large size of the product, a single-mode and single-cavity design approach has been selected. Additionally, the design incorporates a half-structure to efficiently form the handle of the product. The structural analysis of the product has led to the utilization of a pneumatic ejection system, which not only ensures a smooth surface finish but also eliminates any distortion along the edges of the product. This innovative ejection system not only simplifies the mold structure but also proves to be economical and practical. By carefully considering the specific requirements and constraints of the project, this design aims to optimize the manufacturing process and produce high-quality plastic products. Through the combination of cutting-edge technology and efficient design principles, this injection mold sets a new standard for precision and reliability in the field of plastic manufacturing.
