With the increasing concern for the level of pollution in the residential environment, people have begun to use high-tech products to monitor the environment in order to understand the situation in a timely manner. With the rapid development of single-chip technology, the development of detection instruments based on single-chip technology has become more and more miniaturized and diversified. However, there are few multi-functional devices for environmental detection. This paper mainly introduces the development of an environmental detection system based on single-chip technology. This system combines the control technology of single-chip and sensor technology to develop a multi-functional environment detection system. Through the control of temperature and humidity sensors, gas concentration sensors, formaldehyde concentration sensors, and dust sensors, it achieves the collection of temperature, humidity, gas concentration, formaldehyde concentration, and air particle size in the household environment. The collected values are converted by the ADC and then transmitted to the single-chip for reading, and then transmitted to the LCD display for real-time display, making the indoor environment condition clear at a glance. When the detection value exceeds the preset value, the single-chip drives the buzzer to sound an alarm, allowing users to discover the specific environment condition in a timely manner, thereby bringing comfort and safety to the user's living environment. This system eliminates the simple and independent disadvantages of traditional detection instruments and realizes the systematic, miniaturized, efficient, and multi-functional features of detection instruments.
