Abstract The topic of this study is to design a new type of UAV electronic flight control system based on a microcontroller as the minimum system. This minimum system, as the brain of the UAV, can control the UAV to perform corresponding actions through signal commands, so it plays a crucial role in the UAV. Therefore, this paper focuses on the design of the minimum system of the new type of UAV electronic flight control system. The entire system is divided into five parts in total, with the microcontroller as the core, sensors used to detect the attitude of the UAV and obtain data, the motor drive module responsible for driving the rotor to provide power and direction to the UAV, the power module to provide power supply, as well as some external interfaces that can be used to connect with communication modules, and then connect with remote control. Combining these five parts together forms the minimum system of the new type of UAV electronic flight control system. In the overall design plan, the first step is to determine the models of the main components, and then roughly construct a system diagram. By analyzing the system diagram, the specific circuit connections are determined, completing the circuit diagram construction, and drawing the schematic and PCB diagrams of the minimum system.
