The undergraduate thesis "Design of a Card-swiping Water Dispenser Based on Single-chip Microcontroller" mainly focuses on the design of the control part of the card-swiping water dispenser, also known as the RFID card water dispenser. Users can purchase special IC cards and fill them with funds. When the IC card is placed in the card reader area of the water dispenser terminal, the water dispenser will dispense water. Based on the flow rate of the water dispensed, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the card. The design includes the use of a single-chip microcontroller, specifically the STC12C5A32S2. The design also features a minimal system for the single-chip microcontroller, LED digital display, keyboard buttons using independent keys, and an IC card reader/writer module utilizing the MF-RC522 RFID card reader/writer module. The software system includes functions such as IC card reading/writing, keyboard input, hot and cold water control, and display. Overall, this thesis presents a detailed design of a card-swiping water dispenser incorporating a single-chip microcontroller, providing a convenient and efficient way for users to access water through the use of IC cards. The implementation of this design combines hardware components and software systems to create a functional and user-friendly water dispenser system.
