and the mean value theorem to study the algorithm of square root operation in mathematical calculations, and the speed measurement problem of cars in real life. Through these two examples, the important role of these two mathematical principles in daily life is highlighted.
In the application of speed measurement, the usual measurement distance is 300 meters, measure the distance of 1 second within the 300 meters, and use the Lagrange mean value theorem to calculate the speed within one second. In the calculation of square root, using formulas and known numbers that can be completely square rooted (such as square root of 4), use as many known conditions as possible to improve the accuracy of difficult square root calculation, and obtain the result of difficult square root operations through simple mathematical operations such as multiplication and division. Due to the large amount of calculations, MATLAB software is used to implement.
Finally, through comparison with real examples, it is concluded that the two models can achieve speed measurement and calculator calculation, and can achieve the goal of improving accuracy.
