Descriptive Statistical Analysis Experiment Report
In the experiment of descriptive statistical analysis, the purpose is to understand the methods of analyzing the trend and deviation trend in the data set, and to proficiently master the basic steps of each analysis process and the connections and differences between them.
The experiment focused on analyzing the lung capacity of 6 male and 6 female subjects. By inputting the data into the SPSS software and conducting exploratory analysis, the following results were obtained:
From the exploratory analysis output, it is observed that all 6 cases have valid values, with no missing records. It is evident from the data that there is a significant difference in lung capacity between males and females, with males outperforming females and having a wider range and higher skewness.
Further analysis using stem-and-leaf plot and other statistical techniques revealed additional insights into the data set. This experiment not only helped in understanding the basics of descriptive statistical analysis but also provided practical experience in data input, exploration, and interpretation.
Overall, the experiment was successful in achieving its objectives of analyzing data trends and deviations, and in enhancing the understanding and application of statistical methods using SPSS software. This hands-on experience will be valuable in future research and analytical projects.
