Abstract
With the rapid development of single-chip microcontroller technology, single-chip microcontrollers are widely used in various industries, from missile navigation devices to aircraft instrument control, from computer network communication and data transmission to real-time control and data processing in industrial automation processes, as well as the widespread use of various smart IC cards, electronic pets, etc. Single-chip microcontrollers integrate CPU, RAM, ROM, timers, counters, and various interfaces into one microcontroller. They are small in size, low in cost, powerful in functionality, and widely used in the smart industry and industrial automation.
This article describes the design of an electronic clock with perpetual calendar function based on a single-chip microcontroller. The system is composed of the main controller AT89S52, clock circuit DS1302, display circuit, keypad circuit, and reset circuit. The main controller acts as the control center, DS1302 generates the clock, 12864 LCD display shows the date and time, and the keypad can be used to set the time, alarm, etc. The clock can display the time, date, and calendar functions, and show hours, minutes, and seconds.
In the future, perpetual calendars will continue to evolve towards higher accuracy, more beautiful appearance, and more affordable prices, while also introducing more auxiliary functions.
