Based on the single-chip design STC89C52, this bachelor's thesis presents an automatic toilet paper dispensing system. The system comprises a single-chip microcontroller, infrared sensor, laser sensor, stepper motor, and various control modules. The single-chip microcontroller and stepper motor work together to automatically dispense a certain length of paper for user convenience. The microcontroller processes data collected and communicates with the control modules. Infrared sensors detect the presence of individuals within the system's range by measuring the energy radiated by infrared light. When someone is detected, the infrared sensor sends a signal to the central system, triggering an indicator light for notification. Users can activate the paper dispensing function by pressing a button when needed. Through practical experimentation, our team successfully developed the automatic paper dispensing system and documented it with photographs.
