For Dedicated Use with Motorized Door Locks and Security Assurance Systems
▲ Introduction
The MK-098 intelligent access control was specially designed for motorized door locks and
security systems, and supports three door-opening modes ,including those by means of induction
card (EM card and EM compatible cards ),password and induction card + password respectively.
The user can choose a door-opening mode as he pleases, and change its settings through
programming directly on the keypad self-locking function, the user can set the permissible number
of wrong keypad entries, as well as the keypad self-locking time, and even permanutly disable the
keypad entry function, in which case only the induction card can be used to open the door, so in to
meet the system’s stricter requirements in security regard. Furthermore,MK-098 possesses
excellent resistunce against interference and self-diagnosis and self-protection functionality, which
together guarantee the effective sound operation of the system. It supports the opening of a
motorized door through pressing an indoor door opening switch, can store 500 groups of door-
opening data(including data for induction card-enabled, password enable ,and induction card +
password –enabled door opening ) without losing any data due to an outage. Supports output
through a doorbell, and is powerful and easy to install. All these features make it the ideal access
controller for such applications as offices, households. Machine rooms and public places.
▲ Mounting Instructions
1. Dismantle the faceplate: Unscrew the setscrews on the bottom of the faceplate and then gently
pull out the faceplate from the bottom;
2. Fix the bottom case: Fix the bottom case by screwing screws into the mounting holes on the
bottom case;
3. Mount the faceplate : Place the faceplate in position in the bottom case and then drive in
screws, through the mounting holes on the faceplate’s bottom, to mount the faceplate to the
mounting holes on the bottom of the bottom case.
4. Instructions on wiring and short-circuiting:
Direct Control Mode: Power Control Mode:
GND: power supply’s cathode
+12V: power supply’s anode
NO: relay’s normally closed point
NO: relay’s normally open point
COMM: relay’s common point
