Hydraulic system design is crucial for the efficient and safe operation of a truck crane. This project focuses on designing a hydraulic system for the outriggers of a medium and small tonnage truck crane. Through extensive research of both domestic and international literature, as well as market analysis of existing products, a deep understanding of the functions and principles of truck cranes was obtained. The hydraulic system of a truck crane was thoroughly analyzed, including its functions, components, working characteristics, and system types, along with the advantages and disadvantages of hydraulic transmission in truck crane applications. Based on the working characteristics of truck cranes, a typical working condition analysis of the outrigger hydraulic system was conducted to determine the system requirements. The hydraulic system layout and pipeline design of the outrigger were then planned based on hydraulic system principles. Hydraulic system components were determined through design calculations considering the technical parameters of the truck crane. Additionally, the strength and stability analysis of the outrigger mechanism were performed, along with an analysis of the composition principles and performance of the outrigger circuit. The rationality of the hydraulic system design was validated through calculations of pressure loss and heat dissipation. This comprehensive design process ensures that the hydraulic system of the truck crane meets the requirements for efficient and reliable operation. This design not only meets the current needs of truck crane technology but also anticipates future trends and developments in the industry. The results of this project will contribute to the improvement of truck crane performance, safety, and overall operational efficiency.
