elopment, especially injection mold. Therefore, studying injection molds is of great significance for understanding the production process of plastic products and improving product quality. This thesis mainly focuses on the design of a mold for plug, through the process analysis and comparison of the plastic parts, finally designing an injection mold. The project is based on the processability of the product structure and the specific mold structure, detailing the design of the mold’s gating system, molding structure, ejection system, cooling system, selection of injection molding machines and verification of related parameters. Throughout the design process, it is shown that the mold can achieve the processing technology required for this plastic part. The main task of the topic designed is the injection molding process and mold design for the plug. That is, designing a set of injection molds to produce plugs in order to achieve automation and increase production. Through this design, one can have a deeper understanding of injection molds, paying attention to certain details in design, understanding the structure and working principle of the mold; establishing a library of simpler parts through learning, thereby effectively improving work efficiency; further deepening CAD proficiency through assembly drawings and part drawings, deepening the understanding of each part of the mold.
