The research on distributed MIMO has become a hot spot. In distributed MIMO systems, the location of transmit antennas will impact the system performance. However, existing studies on the optimal placement of distributed MIMO antennas lack comprehensive analyses and optimization methods. This paper aims to address this gap by proposing a novel approach for optimizing the position of transmit antennas in distributed MIMO systems. The key idea behind our approach is to leverage the spatial diversity offered by distributed MIMO systems to enhance the overall system performance. By strategically placing transmit antennas in locations that maximize signal coverage and minimize interference, we can improve the system's capacity, coverage, and reliability. To achieve this, we first formulate the antenna position optimization problem as a mathematical optimization model. We then propose a heuristic algorithm based on simulated annealing to search for the optimal antenna positions. Our experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in improving the performance of distributed MIMO systems. Compared to traditional methods, our approach achieves significant gains in system capacity and coverage. Furthermore, our approach is scalable and can be easily adapted to different system configurations and deployment scenarios. Overall, our research makes a significant contribution to the optimization of distributed MIMO transmission antenna positions and has the potential to drive innovation in the design and deployment of future wireless communication systems.
