In exploitation and design of the modern digital electronic system, programmable
l o g i c d e v i c e ( P L D ) i s u s e d m o r e a n d m o r e w i d e l y . T r a d i t i o n a l l y,w e u s e t h e o r e t i c a l
f o r m u l a t o o b t a i n s o m e c o r r e l a t i v e p a r a m e t e r w h e n d e s i g n i n g a d i g i t a l f i l t e r. B u t , i n
thisway, it can′t bring any visual cognition to the actual result of the filter.
So it is impossible that optimizing the parameter according to the actual result. In
order to solve this question, the paper presents a design method for FIR digital filter
based on MATLAB and Quartus . And through this example itⅡ gives the design flow.
T h e r e s u l t o f t h e s o f t w a r e a n d h a r d w a r e s i m u l a t i o n i s a n a l y z e d b y u s i n g o f
MATLAB and Quartus . It can easily check up the results and advance the efficiencyⅡ
of the design.
