The graduation thesis "Design of Stereoscopic Parking Garage System Based on PLC" conducted in Binzhou College explores various types of stereoscopic parking garages, including an overview of parking system principles, types, and characteristics. By comparing the characteristics of different types of stereoscopic parking garages, it is concluded that the lift and shuttle type stereoscopic parking garage is the best choice for ordinary residential communities. The paper elaborates on the working principle of the lift and shuttle type stereoscopic parking garage in ordinary residential communities. It clarifies the motion characteristics and functional requirements of stereoscopic parking garages, and determines the overall scheme of the control system. The thesis introduces the system composition of the stereoscopic parking garage, providing detailed information on the hardware and software components. It discusses the method and steps of using programmable logic controller (PLC) to implement the control system of the stereoscopic parking garage. This includes the selection of PLC, as well as an introduction to the working steps, principles, and characteristics of PLC. Based on the working process of the stereoscopic parking garage, a workflow chart for controlling the stereoscopic parking garage with PLC is developed, along with a program chart. This research holds significant reference value for future studies on stereoscopic parking garages in ordinary residential communities.
